Woman meets body
Introduction
Your hormones are like a symphony, each playing its own instrument to allow for a beautiful melody to be created.
However, hormones are followers, which mean if one goes out of tune; the rest will follow which creates a terrible sounding orchestra (hello unwanted symptoms😒). This can been seen as a domino effect where one hormone after the other falls down, eventually resulting in unwanted symptoms, and if not corrected may result in further inflammatory disorders such as heart disease, fatty liver disease, infertility, PCOS or Endometriosis.
Main causes of hormonal imbalances in women:
- Mismanaged blood sugar + stress on the adrenal glands
- A sluggish liver that is not able to breakdown hormones + exposure to toxins in your environment
- Congestion in the elimination pathways such as the gut, which prevents adequate removal of toxins and ‘used’ hormones
- Not living according to the phases of the menstrual cycle
- Note: In some cases extra tailored herbal remedies are required for hormonal balance support. This course complements recommendations provided by your iridologist, naturopath, homeopath or preferred practitioner. Please inform your health practitioner that you have made dietary changes.
- Please always seek further medical assistance if symptoms persist as blood test or a physical examination might be required.

Frequently Asked Questions:
Will the birth control fix my hormones?
Unfortunately the pill contains synthetic hormones that do not regulate your cycle, but rather switches your natural menstrual cycle off. You can only regulate your own hormone production when your endocrine system functions optimally.
