Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: Can I be diagnosed with PCOS with an ultrasound scan alone (without blood tests)?

A: No, to be formally diagnosed with PCOS you have to have 2 out of the 3 criteria in the Rotterdam Criteria (See PCOS diagnosis video).

Q: The doctor recommended to go on birth control to ‘regulate my cycle’. Is this the only solution for PCOS?

A: No, the pill will not regulate your cycle as it switches your natural menstrual cycle off. It is rather recommended to find out what type of PCOS you have and implement the lifestyle and supplement recommendation for your type to address the root cause driving your PCOS.
